Governance of Organizations (GOO) is an innovative and interdisciplinary course for students interested in acquiring unique knowledge and skills in the area of leadership and management of organizations. Global and digital organizations are increasingly seeking employees with interdisciplinary skills and a strong set of soft competences. The GOO undergraduate program is designed to equip you with precisely these qualities, preparing you for employment in a diverse array of organizations, both in the public and private sectors. Alternatively, it serves as an excellent foundation for furthering your education through second-cycle studies.
The GOO course also offers additional guidance for high school graduates who may still be exploring their future career paths. By integrating various scientific disciplines and delving into their unique methodologies, the program provides an opportunity for students to make well-informed decisions about their career paths.
The interdisciplinary study program is divided into three groups of subjects in the areas:
- political science and administration,
- law,
- communication and media
Additional classes are offered to develop soft skills, such as project-based work, management of conflicts, argumentation skills, public speaking, the use of artificial intelligence (AI), and many more.
The language of instruction is English. Moreover, the curriculum envisages an intensive course in a foreign language (preferably German) up to B2 level.
The teaching period begins on October 14, 2024.
